Washtenaw Support Network for Caregivers

Caring for a loved one? Want some support? Everyone needs a break from time to time. The Washtenaw Support Network for Caregivers is open to anyone who cares for an older adult (age 60+) in your life – be it a parent, spouse, neighbor or anyone else.

All WSNFC offerings are free to caregivers. Our program includes:

  • Caregiver social outings offering a chance to relax, have fun, and connect with a community
  • Educational programs to help you learn more about caregiving… and caring for yourself
  • Respite care available during every caregiver activity, to ensure your loved one is safe and comfortable
  • Group transportation to and from caregiver outings
  • Individualized care-planning consultations with a social worker specializing in caregiving
  • Home chore and handyman services to take a weight off your mind

We also have paid focus groups providing an opportunity for caregivers to share your thoughts and experiences to help improve the program – and be compensated for your time.
